Ho! Ho! Ho!

Today we made our annual trip to Frontenac for pictures with Santa. And as always, it was very crowded. Fran, Grammy, and Bau Bau were volunteering for Nurses for Newborns there from 1-3 so Grammy got herself a chair and parked herself in line until we got there! Our wait was close to 2 hours...seriously... but I think it's worth it. They have the best Santa...he sings songs with the kids in line and spends a really long time with each child. Our kids were able to sit at the NFN wrapping station and play games on everyones phones so they never complained about the wait :) At one point, Scott told me to turn around and everyone in line behind us (at least 20 people) were playing on their phones...it was hysterical! Even with a good five minutes sitting on Santa's lap, Cate forgot to tell him she wants a kitchen and baby doll so we have to write a letter tomorrow :) Bennett had no intention of getting in the picture this year, but Fran promised Uncle Mike would take him to Red Lobster afterwards, and we all know that sort of bribe works for Bennett!! This marks the first Santa Picture that Scott did not have to get in. Our babies are growing up :( Carter was at his Student Council progressive dinner and secret Santa exchange so he missed out on our fun. And let's be honest...he wouldn't have gone with us anyway. Bah Humbug!

Santa visited with everyone in line, jingled his bells, and had everyone join him in singing Rudolph! We love fun Santa!!!
Happy Holidays!!!!
