This past weekend, Bennett's baseball team played in the Kentucky/Indiana border battle state championship tournament. Although not nearly as successful as the Illinois State Tourney, the boys played great and we all had a lot of fun (even Carter).

Three things that made this trip great:

1. Chick-fil-a was located in the same parking lot as our hotel.

2. The team paid for our hotel room :)

3. The tournament had a vendor selling "flea market crap" for super cheap..therefore keeping the siblings entertained for hours during the games!

We won two games and lost two games. Both teams we lost to made it to the championship game, which always makes me feel better :) Bennett hit great all weekend and played awesome at 1st base.

Cate entertained herself by playing in the dirt. I don't even know why I buy her shoes..she rarely wears them!

The 9U and 10U teams were also in the tournament and we were able to watch a few of their games.

While Scott and I were hanging out down the hall with the Loewen's, the team was having a huge pillow fight in our room. Busted!!

Cate wore pigtails for about five minutes...
